What we collect

  • Twitch account data when you log in: your Twitch user id, login name, display name, avatar and the email address on your Twitch account. Login is handled by Supabase Auth using Twitch OAuth; we never see your Twitch password.
  • Votes: which channel you voted for and when. Votes are tied to your account to enforce the 12-hour cooldown.
  • Listing data if you list a channel: the bio, category, tags and social links you enter, plus public Twitch data about the channel (live status, viewer count, category) refreshed every few minutes.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) kept briefly for security and debugging, and aggregate page analytics from Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies.

How we use it

  • To run the leaderboard: count votes, enforce cooldowns and rank channels.
  • To show public streamer pages. A listed channel's name, avatar, bio, tags, vote counts and live status are public. Your email and Twitch user id are never shown publicly.
  • To detect and remove fraudulent voting.

We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing email.

Advertising

Pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. Where required by law we will ask for consent before loading ads.

Retention and deletion

Account and vote data are kept while your account exists. Viewer-count snapshots are deleted after 7 days. Email support@wstreamer.org from the address on your Twitch account to delete your account, your votes, or a channel listing; we process requests within 30 days.

Processors

Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Twitch (login and public channel data), Google (advertising, only where ads are enabled).
